Kinnertoen
Ist ein ostfriesisches Getränk. Wird einige Monate vor der Geburt eines Kindes von den Eltern hergestellt. Zutaten sind: 4 Packungen Rosinen 125 g Kandis 2 Flaschen Brandwein 1/2 Flasche klarer Korn Dieses zieht nun einige Monate, bis das Kind endlich da ist. Der Vater lädt dann seine Kumpels ein, um die (wie sie auch genannt wird) Bohnensuppe zu trinken.
Manfred: Hast Du schon gehört? Der Thomas ist Vater geworden. Renke: Ja, hab es schon gehört. Morgen ist Kinnertoen trinken bei ihm... Manfred: Nicht schon wieder Bohnensuppe...
🇬🇧 Is an East Frisian drink. It is prepared by the parents a few months before the birth of a child. The ingredients are:
4 packs of raisins
125 g rock candy
2 bottles of brandy
1/2 bottle of clear grain spirit
This mixture is left to steep for several months until the child finally arrives. The father then invites his buddies to drink the (as it is also called) bean soup.
