Wenn man sich näher kommt und die höfliche Distanz des "Sie" ablegt. Da man das oft beim Trinken, bzw. Anstossen tut, heisst es auch oft: "Auf Du und Du trinken", so dass man sich ab da gegenseitig duzt. das Näherkommen kann aber auch anders gemeint sein, z.B. ein Ratgeber zum Thema Hund mit dem Titel: "Auf Du und Du mit dem Hund", etc.
