Dieser Ausdruck und die damit verbundene Geschäftsidee ist mir zum ersten Mal in Berlin begegnet. Man lockt vornehmlich junges Publikum mit einem Flatrate-Angebot in die Disco. Will heißen: Einmal zahlen, so viel saufen wie man will. Das ganze hat allerdings einen kleinen Haken. Denn der Besuch der Toilette kostet pro Gang 30 Cent. Aber man hätte es sich denken können: Auch dafür gibt es eine Flatrate. Die Toiletten-Flatrate kostet einmalig 1 Euro und dann kann man so oft gehen wie man will (bzw. muss).

This means: pay once, drink as much as you want. However, there is a small catch. Because visiting the toilet costs 30 cents per trip. But you could have guessed it: there is also a flat rate for that. The toilet flat rate costs a one-time fee of 1 euro, and then you can go as often as you want (or need).
