Agathe Bauer ist eine fiktive Frau, die immer in Verbindung mit einem Verhörern bei Liedern benutzt. Gemeint sind die sogenannten Agathe-Bauer-Songs. Man kann auch „Agathe-Bauer-Effekt“ sagen.
Dieser Effekt tritt oft, wenn man bei einem Lied in einer Fremdsprache unwillkürlich Wörter oder auch ganze Sätze auf Deutsch (Wenn man deutscher Muttersprachler ist) hört. Meistens sind diese Verhörer sehr lustig.
Der Name „Agathe Bauer“ kommt daher, dass mal eine Frau bei einem Radiosender angerufen haben und sich das „Agathe-Bauer-Lied“ gewünscht haben soll. Gemeint war das Lied The Power von SNAP!.
