Doppelhaushälfte
Eine Doppelhaushälfte ist genau genommen ein ganzes Haus. Theoretisch wäre das richtig. Aber: Da das Doppelhaus als "ganzes" gesehen wird, ist die Hälfte des Doppelhauses wie bei einem stinknormalen Haus auch nur eine Hälfte. Also ein halbes Haus.
🇬🇧 A Doppelhaushälfte is technically a whole house. Theoretically, that would be correct. But: Since the semi-detached house is viewed as a "whole," half of the semi-detached house is, like in a regular house, just half. So, it's a half house.
