Wenn der Winter vorbei ist, und die Sonnenstrahlen des beginnenden Frühlings offenbaren, wo überall noch Staub liegt oder sich in den Ecken etwas angesammelt hat, bricht hierzulande etwas aus, das man Frühjahrsputz nennt:
Die komplette Wohnung wird auf den Kopf gestellt und alles gründlich gefegt, geputzt, gewienert, gewaschen, viele Dinge auch aussortiert.
Diese Sitte hat mehrere Ursachen:
In der dunklen Jahreszeit sieht man trotz Leuchtkörperlicht nicht alles, was man machen könnte.
Die etwas esoterischer angehauchten ZeitgenossInnen begründen es auch damit, dass die Energien des alten Jahres entfernt werden, um neuen Platz zu machen, und dies gut für das Feng-Shui sei. Nach dem Motto: "Alles neu macht der Mai.", nur schon vorher.
Fest steht der pragmatische Grund: Man fühlt sich in einer aufgeräumten und sauberen Wohnung wohler als in einer staubigen und unordentlichen.
Jens: "Sag mal, Schatz, was ist denn bei den Meyers los? Dauernd läuft das Wasser, und die rasen durch die Bude wie Eichhörnchen in Panik." Luisa:" Da ist Frühjahrsputz angesagt. Ist doch eine gute Idee, nicht wahr?" Jens: "Ja, Schatz, natürlich."
