Der Karstadt-Raver war ein Raver, der sein Klamottenstil in den 2000'ern nach dem Mainstream gerichtet hat. Er tanzte vorzugsweise zu der Musik von Scooter und anderen HandsUp-Acts (Kirmes-Techno). Den Karstadt-Raver erkannte man an Glow-Sticks, Ski-Sonnenbrillen, leuchtenden und bunten Klamotten, Trillerpfeifen und gegelter Spitzhaarfrisur.
Parodiert wurde es in jener Zeit von einer Kunstfigur namens "Terry Techno", welcher in der Comedy Sendung "Flipside" zu sehen war.
