eher eine schwäbische denn eine chinesische Weisheit, die Dinge so lange zu nutzen, bis die Verschleißgrenze tatsächlich erreicht wird...
klassische "Blödelübersetzung": "der Kluge geht nur solange zur Quelle des Übels, bis er das Kotzen kriegt..."
🇬🇧 Classic "translation" (into standard German): "the jug goes to the well as long as it doesn't break" (at the latest, that's when it's time to find a replacement).
More of a Swabian than a Chinese wisdom, using things until the wear limit is actually reached...
