Die gute Stube ist eine andere Bezeichnung für das Wohnzimmer. Wo die schlechte Stube ist, ist nicht bekannt. Vor allem durch den Satz "Immer hinein in die gute Stube!", ist die gute Stube bekannt. Ansonsten wird der Begriff "gute Stube" nur noch selten und von älteren Leuten benutzt.
Mutter Irmchen zu Gästen, die zum ersten mal da sind: "Links ist die gute Stube." Oma Hilde: "Aber sowas kann man doch nicht in die gute Stube stellen!"
