In der klassischen Rollenverteilung von Eltern ist die Mutter (Mutti) für Angelegenheiten der Schule ihres Kindes zuständig. Daher kommt eben der Ausdruck „Muttiheft“. Man kann natürlich auch „Vatiheft“ sagen, wenn sich der Vater um die Schule kümmert.
