Jahrhundert abwertig für China und 'die Chinesen' gebrauchter Ausdruck, den man leichtfertig rassistisch nennen könnte, wenn die dortige extrem bis ultra-nationalistische Einheitsstaatspropaganda nicht selber den Ausdruck mit positiven Vorzeichen verwendete, um von der Überlegenheit der eigenen Rasse zu träumen etwa -'das fleissige Volk der blauen Ameisen' (blau -die Arbeiteruniform') oder -'das Ameisenvolk der Chinesen'
🇬🇧 a term used derogatorily in the West in the 20th century for China and 'the Chinese,' which could easily be called racist if the extreme to ultra-nationalist propaganda in that region did not itself use the term with positive connotations to dream of the superiority of its own race
for example
- 'the hardworking people of the blue ants' (blue - the workers' uniform) or
- 'the ant people of the Chinese'
