meistens auch technisch in nicht ganz einwandfreiem Zustand, meist schlecht gewartete Bremsen und entsprechendes Fahrwerk, dadurch zum Schaukeln neigend.
wurden häufig für wenig Geld und mit wenig TÜV hier gekauft, vollgepackt mit dem, worauf die Familie in der Türkei sehnlich wartet, eben dorthin gekarrt und dort dann Onkel oder Cousin überlassen, der dafür das Flugticket zurück nach Deutschland bezahlt hat... (Nostalgie der 1980er Jahre...)
der Begriff scheint allerdings mit Taunus und Granada ausgestorben zu sein (den Transit gibt's ja noch - zumindest dem Namen nach)...
(dazu sollte man wissen: ein geflügeltes Wort in den 1970ern/80ern war: "wer Ford fährt, kommt mit der Bahn zurück...")
