Wenn etwas, das man oder jemand gerade tut, schief geht, komentiert man das mit einem Möp. Das Möp ist dabei als Lautmalerei zu verstehen, wie es bei der Betätigung eines falschen Knopfes oder ähnlichem hervorgerufen wird.
